The last may not have been heard about the recently concluded Presidential election in Nigeria, this comes as more and more drama and controversies have continued to trail the aftermath of the 2023 presidential election in the country.
The latest being a publication made by The Times London, United Kingdom, of which has equally incurred the wrath, anger and dangerous verbal venoms of the outspoken chieftain of the ruling part (APC), Mr. Femi Fani Kayode, FFK, who went out all to attack the UK based media outlet, in the same tone as they did to his principal, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Meanwhile, the said publication described the Nigeria President elect, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu was with such derogatory and embarrassing words. They even referred to Tinubu as a wealthy kleptomaniac, god-father of politics and a candidate who campaigned on the slogan that it is his turn to rule the Africa’s most populous black nation.
The publication equally stated that Nigeria who has been ruled over the past eight years by President Muhammadu Buhari, whom there described as an “ailing octogenarian” and “financial propriety” is being replaced equally by an ailing septuagenarian southern Muslim, who has a reputation for “lavish spending and corruption”.
Femi Fani Kayode who’s one of the social media warriors of the ruling party in a tweet via his verified handle unleashed his anger on The Times, describing the media house as only fit for the dustbin, especially as The Times London has lost its glory days and as such, has become inconsequential media outfit which is a toe rag.

In the said tweet, he alleged that some ignorant, some barely educated and misguided white dude is known for writing rubbish for the media outfit, as such, they can’t loose sleep over the said publication. He equally made it clear that they have far more bigger and important issues to dwell on rather than focusing on the contents of the publication made by times.
On the other hand, the truth remains that the publication is so demeaning for a person that is the President elect of such a country like Nigeria, the giant of Africa for that matter. Naturally, it is expected that this kind of publication will trigger harsh criticism and reactions from the camp of those whose principal is in the center of it all.
Therefore, The Times London should retract this very image damaging publication and equally tender a public apology.
