Earlier today, Monday May 1, 2023, news went viral across social media platforms that popular Nollywood actress, Nuella Njubigbo has remarried in a secret ceremony. Well, the news is not just about her remarrying, but that she allegedly married the ex husband of her colleague and bestie, Uche Ogbodo, in the person of Carlos Jean, in a secret marriage ceremony.
The secrecy of the marriage ceremony is one of the factors which gave more credence to the rumours. But surprisingly, in the face of the uncleared rumours, Uche Ogbodo took to her verified Instagram page to congratulate Nuella on her marriage.
Uche shared a video of herself, Nuella and one other friend as the three of them danced happily as they visited Uche Ogbodo’s recently launched boutique, to shop. She captioned the post, “my hearty congratulations to my girl Nuella. Happy married life beautiful…”
Meanwhile, in one of the comments made by a certain person on the post, queried the actress if it’s not her ex husband that Nuella Njubigbo reportedly got married to, of which Uche immediately refuted the rumour in question.
“I hear say na your ex husband, na true?” @vivypeters asked, and in response, Uche Ogbodo wrote “no, it’s not”.
Going further, another person @gomeznsude wrote, “no be your ex she marry?”
“And so?” Uche retorted.
Recall that Nuella Njubigbo was last married to Nollywood director, Tchidi Chikere, and their marriage was blessed with a beautiful daughter. Unfortunately, their marriage eventually hit the rock few years after. And just recently, Nuella’s estranged hubby, Tchidi remarried, making it his third marriage in as many years.
