Popular and flamboyant Nollywood actor, rapper and entertainer, Charles Okocha, equally known as Igwe 2Pac, is one dad who’s never tired of flaunting his kids, most especially his look alike daughter, Mercy Okocha at every given opportunity. The single father of two paid a surprise visit to his daughter’s school yesterday, Thursday, April 13, 2023.
He was at his daughter’s school in the company of two of his friends, and the actor didn’t fall short of his usual comic and fatherly affectionate displays towards his daughter, all in the presence of both his friends and students of the school who watched from their respective distances.
In some of the posts, including video and photos shared via his verified Facebook page, the actor could be seen cuddling his beautiful daughter to himself, to the envy of some of his friends who were present during the visitation. They equally came with lots of gifts as they had gone on a shopping spree before making their way to his daughter’s school.
“I went to visit my adorable & phenomenal daughter in school,” he captioned the post.
In a video shared from the visit, one of the actor’s friend was seen reminding the young girl of how much her celebrity dad loves her, and how he’s equally very proud of her, of which she was nodding her head in acknowledgement of that fact. He went further to give her few words of encouragement and support, urging her to always place her education above every other thing.
On the other hand, many have hailed the loving and caring dad, especially with the way he treats his daughter. In one of the comments made on the post, a certain Amarachi Joyce wrote, “The day phenomenal daughter will get married daddy will cry his eyes out. Best dad.”
In another comment, Saidu Akogwu Ibrahim wrote, “Thank God me mah I have daughters if not I for jealous. But wait oo how many times you dey visit her self in a month? Is not up a month u went visiting ur phenomenal daughter naa.”
This is not the first time the Nollywood actor has visited his daughter at school, in fact in recent times, he has made it a point of compulsory duty and obligation to drive her back to school after the holidays, and to equally to pick her up during school vacations. Meanwhile, he replicates same to Mercy’s younger brother who equally is in a boarding school.
