French Ligue-1 Champions, Paris St-Germain, PSG, defender, Achraf Hakimi was sent off during a league match against Lorient earlier in the day. He was sent off in the 20th minute after receiving double yellow cards in the space of fifteen minutes.
Meanwhile, a lot of people have continued to troll him over the red card incident, relating the incident with the recent story of the footballer willing over 90% of his earnings and properties to his mother, hence, allegedly frustrating the divorce instituted by his partner who had reportedly demanded a huge share of the footballer’s assets in the divorce suit.Â
Though Lorient took the lead through Enzo Le Fee, French hitman, Kylian Mbappe equalized for the Persian, but two goals from Darlin Yongwa and Bamba Dieng sealed victory for Lorient. And five games to go, PSG are still leading the league table and are right points separates them from second placed Marseille.
This is PSG ninth defeat in all competition this season, in fact, PSG have actually failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last eight home matches in the French top flight league, being the club’s longest run of such result and performance in Ligue-1 Since 1989.
On the other hand, some of those reacting to Hakimi’s red card are of the opinion that since he registered everything about himself under his mum’s name, that she will equally receive the suspension as a result of the red card, while Hakimi will be eligible to play their next game as he no longer has any business with the red card in question.
