Nigerian Hilda Baci who recently made global headlines when she successfully completed 100 hours marathon cooking, as such earning herself a special spot in the Guinness book of world records. It was such a heavenly experience for the Akwa-Ibom born celebrity cook as Nigerians from all walks of life took to various social media platforms to celebrate her and as well as her newly achieved feat.
But in a sudden twist of events, she seems to have gotten into the bad books of same Nigerians, just in the same way she found her way into their hearts. This comes as a certain flyer which has since gone viral on Twitter indicates that she’s charging the sum of twenty five thousand Naira (N25,000) as entry fee to her upcoming event, were she will meet and greet people, amongst other activities for the event, though she has come out to deny it.
The story did not seat well with many people who quickly stormed micro blogging platform, twitter, to vent their anger and displeasure on Hilda. Some wondered why she should be charging such a high fee just for people to come and see her, especially at a time Nigerians are experiencing excruciating economic pains, and in spite the amount of love and support shown to her just few weeks ago on her way to setting the new Guinness world record.
Meanwhile, reacting to one of such trolls on Twitter, Hilda Baci quickly dissociated herself from such arrangement, and equally denied ever giving consent to such arrangement.
“Yes, it’s not coming from me, i never approved this or gave consent to this,” @hildabacicooks wrote in response to a post from one twitter user who tagged her in a post, “this is what i saw oh but @hildabacicooks says it’s fake”.
Unfortunately, it was not enough to stop the barrage of trolls directed at her from angry Nigerians.

“25k to see Hilda Baci? How much be Olamide live in concert,” @ayeedpr wrote.
“25k to see Hilda Baci?? The last time i saw Wizkid, na 2k i pay,” @rutie_xx commented as well.

Nigerians have one unchanging trademark, that no matter how much they love you or they have celebrated your success in the past, once you get into their bad books, they will inevitably drag the living day light out of your life. Yes, most people in this part of the world do not indulge in hero worshipping.
