There’s nothing one will not see in this world, to the extent that evil is now a thing for some people to be proud of. Wow! Indeed, the world is fasting descending the abyss of no return and total destruction, if things continue this way.
Well, the story on our news desk this morning is about a young internet fraudster popularly known as “Yahoo-Yahoo”, who has taken to the social media platform to showoff his scamming skills, format and how he scammed a victim. In a screenshot shared by the scammer, about the conversation he had with one of his victims, who was crying and begging for mercy from the said scammer.
Going further, the victim who was scammed of one hundred thousand Naira (#100,000) for a fictitious online investment, pleaded with his scammer to only refund him just 50% of the money. This was to enable him (the victim) take care of his sick mother who’s being treated of cancer. Unfortunately, the scammer who claimed to be a medical doctor refused to believe his story of his mother suffering cancer.
“Okay, so the thing is my mother has cancer, and I put the money in the Binomo scheme, because I thought I could get double of the money for her treatment. Please don’t let her die in vain,” the victim lamented bitterly.
He then added, “I know you have a mother so please I beg you that you should consider this. We shall not loose our mother early in life.
In fact you can keep 50k, send me 50k out of the money, I will manage it for the treatment.”
Sadly, the scammer was not moved as he equally refused to believe that the mother of his victim has any cancer, “first of all, your mother does not have any cancer, that’s a lie, stop lying with a thing like that. I’m a scammer, I know a lie when I see one.”
Further, he said, “secondly, my mother died when I was born, so no dey yarn dust. And you want to use 50k for cancer treatment? OMG, guy try and balance your lie well make e no dey sound stupid.
I’m a graduate of medicine, I know all these things, na Naija turn me like this.”

It’s so unfortunate that we have situations like this in our country, such that people are now bold to represent the kingdom of crimes against humanity a d equally bragging about it. Besides, if it’s true that the scammer is a graduate of medicine and proudly into it, then it is such a pity and pathetic situation for our dear country, frankly!
