A certain Nigerian woman has criticized veteran Nollywood actor, Chief Pete Edochie for featuring in actress Judy Austin’s recent movie project titled “The Godfather”. Recall that Judy Austin who was sometime ago announced as Yul Edochie’s second wife after the actor broke the news via his verified Instagram page in 2022, along with the son Judy had with him, against the wish and consent of his first wife, May Yul Edochie.
Since then, both Yul and Judy have faced series of bashing and criticism, most especially across social media platforms. In the face of all these, both Yul and Judy have continued to work together on different movie sets, with their most recent movie project featuring Yul Edochie’s father, Chief Pete Edochie.
Unfortunately, the veteran actor has equally been subjected to series of online bashing and criticism by some people, and his only sin is the fact that he agreed to be featured in a movie produced by Judy Austin. A certain female Facebook user identified as Lolo Nneka, who is equally not happy with Chief Pete Edochie has taken to her page to call out the Nollywood legend.
According to her, she queried why Pete Edochie agreed in the first place to partake in the said movie project, why also wondering if Pete doesn’t have things he wouldn’t involve himself into, regardless of the money involved, presumedly for the sake of his personality.
“E no get wetin an elderly man like that dey forbid? How does he expect May to feel?,” she wondered. Going further, she accused the male gender of being selfish, self centered and self conceited, and asking if it’s because Pete couldn’t get other jobs in the movie industry that made him accept a role in Judy Austin’s new movie. While alleging that the family has allowed themselves to be tossed around like a football, by Judy.
“See how this girl dey use an entire family take play football,” she claimed.
“So all those outrage Oga Pete was pretending to have was just for the gram? Like father like son honestly. Blood they say is thicker than water…” she added.
On the other hand, some of the female genders who commented on the post threw their weight behind the post, while some other persons argued that Pete Edochie is just doing his job as an actor.
