U.S based Nigerian businessman and digital currency mogul, Gaius Chibueze, popularly known as Bitcoin Chief, in a recent tweet via his verified twitter account, made some startling revelation on some sensitive and key issues, both personal and societal matters, including the least amount of money you must have in your account before you can be a member of their club.
First, he made it clear that once the troubling security challenges in the South Eastern Part of Nigeria is handled, then Igbo land will witness a historical and unprecedented development in the region. Meanwhile, this follows a recent meeting he had with some of his Igbo billionaire friends, with members drawn across different countries and from all walks of life.
“I just came out of a meeting with some of my Igbo Billionaire friends in the Association we belong to (Ala Igbo Progressives Social Club) with members in the USA, Malaysia, UK & Europe,” part of his tweet reads, and that, “once insecurity is handled in Ala Igbo, the kind of development we will witness will be all time historical.”
Meanwhile, he urged his Igbo people to learn their lessons from all that happened to them during the recently held 2023 general elections in the country. And as such, should be a motivating factor for them to go back home and develop/build Igbo land, probably as they have been doing in other parts of the country and world.
He equally revealed how about four members of their club discontinued with the purchase of some properties in Lagos State because of him, even when they have made some deposits in that regard. But regardless of that factor, they still made up their minds that they are not going any further with the project in Lagos State.
“Four persons in the meeting said because of me they didn’t proceed with the property they had made deposits with Ned in Lagos,” the tweet revealed.
And on the membership of their association (Social Club), he made it categorically clear that intending members must provide an evidence showing that they have a balance of two million dollars ($2,000,000) and above in their bank account, before their club can accept the person as a member.
In his exact words, “you need to show a bank balance of $2M to be a member of this social club! So all of us in this club are loaded. Many professional and business people.”
Recall that the wealth young man was in the news recently, as we reported that he announced that his company has granted full university scholarship to the then embattled and beleaguered student of Deeper Life High School, Anambra State, in the person of 19 year-old Miss Mmesoma Ejikeme.
This was as a result of her involvement in the falsification of her UTME result, and the subsequent suspension of the girl from partaking in UTME for three years by JAMB. The UTME result at the center of the whole episode, were she had scored 249 was equally invalidated by JAMB.
The scholarship allows her to make a choice of any university outside the country.
